Your nickname must be registered with nickserv on TotalIRC and you must login with the same nickname/password configuration

Linking rules

In order to link with the TotalIRC IRC network, you must first fulfill the linking requirements.

This is included but not limited to:

1. You have permission from the server administrator
2. You can fulfill the bandwidth requirements of a minimal 1 Mbit upload.
2.1 If its a private connection you should not do any heavy downloading or uploading.
3. The server the IRCd is going to be run on must be of a unix variant, anything in the BSD and linux family and Solaris is allowed. (Windows links will not be permitted)
4. You agree to abide by the network rules and network charter
5. You have hanged around for a little while to see if the network is something you'd like to invest time in.
6. The server in question has a reasonable amount of CPU power and memory to run the IRC daemon stable.
